Ballot choice is wrong

This letter to the editor appeared in the Spokesman Review on September 9, 2006.

As I said last year about this time, I'm not able to have a ballot counted as I will not vote a straight ticket. It is not right that we be forced to vote for choices that are not necessarily what we believe to be the correct ones.

The "party" is worthless; it is the individual that votes on bills and sponsors legislation. Too much time is wasted on "party" bickering, not enough time spent on things the people who sent them there want to know about.
